V-Tower

The highest residential building in the Czech Republic, V-Tower is a luxury apartment skyscraper that overlooks Prague, the country’s capital and largest city. Shaped like a V, the building is widely recognized for its sustainable profile, having achieved LEED Platinum Certification—the first residential project in Europe to achieve this certification.

With 30 floors of uniquely shaped residences, Jaga was selected to supply heating along the glass exterior. Because of the unique shape of the building, the Micro Canals were built into the floors using special spacers to adjust the length. A total of 1,650 units were used in the project and fitted with wood grilles to seamlessly integrate with the building’s wood floors. The units not only fit the sleek design aesthetic in the building, but also helped it achieve its energy-efficiency targets.

The building received both Best Residential High-rise Architecture Czech Republic and Best Residential High-rise Development Czech Republic in the European category at the International Property Awards in 2015.
